There are currently several ways to get free diamonds: clean trash from the field (a good chance of getting a few diamonds), participate in tournaments (diamonds are given as a reward for prize-wining places), earn achievements or complete certain missions.
How do tournaments work?
Tournaments last five days. The next tournament begins as soon as the last one ends. All players are divided into groups of 100 people of similar rating. The higher the players ratings are, the greater the reward. When the tournament ends, the three best players in each group win a prize.
To enter the tournament, you need a rating of at least 500. If you are unable to enter a tournament when it begins, you will have to wait for the next one.
What is a protection?
When you're under the effect of a protection, other players can't attack your base. If you've been attacked and your base has been destroyed, a protection is activated automatically for a certain period of time. You can buy a protection at the store in the appropriate section. If you want to save your resources, or if you know that you won't be able to play for a while, try to set up a protection at your base.
How do guild tournament work?
You joined a guild and want to show off your skills, as well as earn some diamonds for upgrading bases? Then Guild tournaments are for you! Tournaments last five days. The next tournament begins as soon as the last one ends. All guilds are divided into groups of 20 guilds of similar rating. The higher the guild's ratings are, the greater the final reward. You receive Tournament Points for each victory in battle during a tournament. The winning guilds are determined by their Tournament Points totals. The final award is divided among the 15 best players from each of victorious guilds.
