Attacking
Move towards enemies to attack with your weapon.

Use coins to upgrade skills and improve you character.
The number of skills and types you can obtain varies by character.
Skill types
Check what each skill does by tapping the ? on the skills screen.
Empty skill blocks will do nothing if upgraded.
Magic
Obtain the magic skill to activate the magic button.
You can use magic until your gauge depletes.
Your magic gauge will refill when you level up or clear a stage.
Suggested Upgrades
Obtaining hearts helps your HP recover faster, so you'll live longer.
By the way, HP also recovers when you collect coins.
Chain Combos
If you can keep defeating enemies without getting hit, you will create a chain.
Stack up combos to obtain special items and increase the coin multiplier on enemies.
