At the start of the game, your plane can sustain 2 damage before it converts to a trash ball paper. Don't worry, trash ball can still travel for a limited time. When you reach to the next marker "Checkpoint" your paper will fully regenerate even when you reach the marker by travelling with the trash ball only.
When you reach the new marker, your previous distance will increase but your time will also increase. You should only focus on how to survive for the increased distance you need to travel. Usually if you don't get damage, you will get to the marker on the time.
There are three powerups in the game: Wrapdash, Magnet and Health. Wrapdash is the best power-up, it will make you closer to the next marker if needed and it is easily obtain in-game. Magnet actually magnets coins but it is not cost efficient because it only last for few seconds.
